Monitor U.S.S. Tecumseh

Charles Spales, 1st Class Boy, appears on the U.S.S. Tecumseh ^{[1], [2]} casualty list for the 5 August 1864 Battle of Mobile Bay. The Tecumseh KIA list in Army and Navy Journal mentions he was transfered from the U.S.S. Minnesota.

Unable to locate Spales on any Naval Rendezvous return from 1855 to 1864 or locate a rendezvous index card for those years for him. Spales, holding the rate of 1st Class Boy, would have been no older than 18.
