James McCue - Coal Heaver
James McCue was born circa 1841 in Ireland and enlisted on 27 February 1864 at the New York, NY Naval Rendezvous as a Coal Heaver for a 1 year enlistment[1].
McCue was attached to the Tecumseh on 21 April 1864 [2]. On 12 May 1864, he was admitted to Naval Hospital Portsmouth with rheumatism.
McCue was not aboard the Tecumseh for the Battle of Mobile Bay.
