James Duvaul - Ordinary Seaman
James Duvaul was born circa 1832 in New York and he enlisted on 15 April 1864 at the New York Naval Rendezvous as an Ordinary Seaman [2]. He was attached to the U.S.S. Tecumseh on 22 April 1864 [1].
On 4 July 1864, Davis was admitted to Naval Hospital Portsmouth with typhoid fever[2] He was moved to Naval Hospital New York on 25 October 1864. From there he deserted on 4 November 1864 [1], [2].
