Patrick E. Callahan - Landsman
Patrick E. Callahan enlisted as a landsman in New York on 25 January 1864 and was sent to the U.S.S. North Carolina. On 10 March 1864, he was ordered to the U.S.S. Kensington and then back to the North Carolina on 25 March. On 29 April, he was attached to the Tecumseh[1], [4].
Callahan appears on the Tecumseh casualty list[2], [3] for the 5 August 1864 Battle of Mobile Bay.
Callahan's age is unknown, however he was in the Navy for nearly six months.
